Just got this '81 750 seca. only a few things need attention on it, one of which is that the caliper of the right front brake is grinding against the rotor. car mechanic friend said it could be a seized piston on the caliper. any input before i tear apart the caliper?

i will check to see if the washer issue is the problem. by the way, it is the actual caliper that is pushed up against the rotor, not just the pad.

I had an issue with the rotor rubbing on the caliper housing. I released the bottom bolt on the fork, and slid the fork over until the caliper was centered. Then re-tightened it. This is on the non-nut side of the front axle. (right side) The caliper works fine.

Not sure if this is the problem or not, but I thought I would pass it along.
