I got a rebuild kit on ebay. On my original carbs the float seats have a wire mesh filter at the bottom(no longer good) The rebuild kit seats have no filter , but come with an o-ring and a "metal slug" I have no idea were this metal slug goes. It is about 3/16 round and 3/16 thick with no holes otr anything. Anyone knows where the hell it goes.
    Thanks

I believe the "Metal slug" is for the pilot mixture screws. They are for recaping them. I didn't use the ones that came with my kit. If I am wrong someone will chime in soon.

The O-ring may be for the pilot screw. Almost sure to be if it's small.

Some of the K&L kits are for more than one application and will have extra parts.

The 4 little Discs are for the Pilot Mixture Screw Holes.
Replacements for the ones that needed drilling-out.

Glue them to the underside of a footpeg.

Make-up a long story about having your bike "Dynamically Balanced" and show-off the weights.
Tell the story saying that they are Spent Nuclear Fuel and weigh a quarter-pound each.

Heh. I don't care who you are... that's funny right there.

We used to have a morning radio show; one time the main host was taking questions from callers. One inquired as to the garbage-can looking things that can be seen on freeway exit ramps surrounding the concrete barriers. Much amusement was had when he told her they were filled with nuclear waste.

After letting her rant and rave for a minute or two, he finally told her they were filled with water, for the purpose of absorbing the impact of a crash.

'course, this was the same guy that said the space shuttle would be landing at a small municipal airport... local police were not amused. (See item 39.)

    OMG,...

    #39 is toooo funny.
But, I could see some people getting caught-up in it.

But, the fact that there was NO Shuttle Mission in progress makes it hilarious.
