Ok so I have to hopefully simple questions on my 81 xj750r SECA

    1. I just bought and received in the mail yesterday a CarbTune II Manometer, but I am not exactly sure where to hook it up? Does it get hooked up to the little plugs that are capped of between the manifold and the carbs?

    2. I also noticed today that there was a black hose on the plug on I believe carb 2 (carb on the inside on the right side of the bike) that was leading nowhere and I also noticed that my petcock is missing a vacuum line. does this sound like it could be the vacuum line for the petcock?

Thanks in advance all and I will get this bike running smooth again. FYI, I have already pulled the carbs off and cleaned them and readjusted float level. I did a bench sync before reinstalling them.

    Thanks in advance all!

    1. Yes they go on those little nipples. You'll have to take the vacuum line off #2 and set the petcock to PRI or you'll get no gas.

    2. Yes this goes to the petcock. If it is functioning properly and not set to PRI you will get no fuel flow without the vacumm of the running engine.

    yes and yes.
re #2: The cylinders are numbered from left (1) to right (4)as you sit on the bike so the inside right would be #3

now, not to burst your bubble but you DO have a YICS blockoff tool, right?

    nice bike btw ;)

I do lol, I received that in the mail yesterday as well. I attempted to make one my self at first and failed miserably, could'nt cut the spacers straight and just couldn't really find the appropriate parts needed in the area, but the one I purchased online looks like it should do the trick. Thanks for the help Militant_Buddhist. I'll need to get some pics posted sometime, her frame and body are are excellent shape, I just hope I can get her engine to run as well as her exterior looks
