I've been reading on numerous car and bike forums about the advantages of Seafoam.
How many of you here use it and it what ratio? Would a cap full every tank be OK or ???

I'm currently running a tank of Seafoam, I mixed 3.5 ounces into my tank before filling. Trying to see if it will help with the low rpm drag I'm experiencing, I suspect the PO didn't take the best care of the carbs.

1/4 can in a full tank once or twice a season, then ride it till that tank is
    almost gone
a good thing to do is open the float bowl drain screws one at a time and rinse out any crud that is laying in there

I tried using it as a fuel stabilizer for seasonal storage and found that it noticeably adversely affected how the bikes ran. So I switched back to Sta-Bil.

You might run a few ounces thru a tank of gas now and then to break loose crud, but only maybe. Read the ingredients. It's nothing special.

    I've been advised to put a cap-full in a weed eater's tank.
Sure, it's a mild solvent that won't harm the fuel system, but the working ingredient seems to be "Coleman Camp Stove Fuel" and it works out to cost $200 / Gallon if you do the math.

Just like one of the "high octane boost" products is- - 95% Kerosene.
