Interchanging shocks from other motorcycle make/model

    Hi guys..
    I just bought an XJ750A (Seca) with a leaking rear shock. Currently I'm looking for replacement and trying to maintain the bike as stock as possible.

    1. Due to difficulty finding parts for Yamaha XJ here, are there shocks from any other models/make that can perfectly fit into my XJ (without any mods)?

    2. By far (from your experience) which shocks provide the best road holding for this bike?

    if you are interested i have a set of Seca Shocks and a set of Maxim Shocks both XJ750 i would part with them for say $10 Plus shipping i can also email pics if you would like.
