My XJ750RJ Seca 1982 has 30 amp main fuse - factory spec.
(No, Polock, it’s not a Chevy or Ford :)
Actually, Corba did not specify what size fuse ??

So my questions to Cobra are…… what size fuse are you using and what size do you think it should be and why do you think it should be that size?

i think polock would rather know what bike it is, not what fuse.

    cobra-
    what bike, year and model?
    what size fuse?

until you fill in the blanks people cant really give you good advice, other than....you have a short somewhere.

chaffed wires are a very common blown fuse cause. also, i often see corroded connections that have a parasitic draw and can cause a fuse to pop. usually fuses are rated for way more than the normal load on the circuit, so dont try to mask the real problem by putting in a bigger fuse.

There must be something in the system spiking. Time for a multimeter.
