Just want to get an Idea of where in the carbs I might look for this problem. When I cold start the bike Full Choke It starts up a little rough but not terrible. It then idles around 1100 Then a minute later it will run screaming for redline. I shut the bike off turn it back on and it will idle normally then take off again for redline. I didnt wait between turning it off and starting it back up. Just turned it off started it right back up. I dont have to touch the throttle it does it on its own.. When I backed off the choke it made no difference at all.

Throw some ideas at me so i can go through all of it...

    Thanks
    Jay

Choke(fuel enrichement circuit) is not closing all the way on one or more of the carbs. Many people don't check them when doing a carb rebuild. The little rubber washers in the plungers crack and let extra fuel in. You could also have a vacuum leak, I'd check that first.

    If it's going OVER 3,000 rpm's ... It's Throttles opened.

You did something to bring Main Jet Fuel together with a lots of air.

This happens when Carbs are installed without carefully tending to all the details.
The Linkage Connection gets jammed-up under the Head.
Clamps are loose and fouling Linkage.
    The wrong Cable got connected.
    Also:
    Diaphragm Pistons sticking.
    Manifold Gaskets and O-rings failing.

Linkages on the Carbs not true and square and are binding.

i would suggest to check your throttle first... see if it's sticking somewhere...if you push your throttle tube too far onto your bars then it can cause it to stay open, causing you to rev right off the bat..also check to see where the throttle is running through..it may be pulling on it when your handle bars are turned a certain way but not another... turn your bars and watch the throttle on your carb to see if it's getting snagged open.. check that first before you start pulling the thing apart.. sometimes it may be an earier solution to your problem...

Ive had that same problem with mine. After checking the line under the gas tank I found it wasnt in its holder all the way, so it would get stuck open. I kind of doubt thats the issue, mine would race up immediately if it was stuck.

You have to go-over every little detail.

    I've seen it be:
Mounting the Throttle Cable Guide wrong.
The --> Cable ... not seated fully in the --> Cable end barrel.
The Handlebar Controls Twisted to a different location.
    Throttle Cable not routed correctly.
    Idle Rod too far in.
Bench Sync "Feeler" too large letting initial adjustment to open.
Throttle Cable not anchored and getting pulled by bars.
Manifold "Cut" by wrong or misplaces clamp.
    Manifold Clamps holding Linkage open.
    Stripped Sync Screw.
Slipped Rubber Diaphragm cup not letting Piston return.
    Mixed Jets
    Missing Jets
    Dry Throttle Shaft Pivots

You should EXPECT the Bike to run BETTER after a thorough Carb Cleaning.
You might have to completely Re-Tune the Carbs because they are so clean that they are delivering Fuel BETTER than before.

Bench Sync with Strips of narrow 3X5 Card.
Start the NEW Tune with the Throttles practically CLOSED.
Get the Bike to IDLE using the Pilot Jets and Air.
Keep the Throttles Closed and use as little Idle Rod as necessary.

If you had tthe YICS Port Opened, .... make sure the Plugs are tight.
