Anyone have one of these installed? How do you like it? How does it look? Any handling issues? Gas mileage change? Less hand numbness? Any issues with install?

The reason I ask is my wife and I just went on another one of our long Sunday rides (about a 2 hour ride) and we drove through several areas that were loaded with bugs (mostly farms). My shirt is stained, my helmet visor is coated and I got stung 3 times because some nasty looking bugger entered my shirt. Not to mention I still feel like a slug holding on for dear life when riding into oncoming wind.(I truely think thats why my hands go numb so much due to my "hold on for dear life" death grip)

Needless to say it was not nearly as enjoyable as I had hoped.

    I have the SlipStreamer "Hell-Fire" Mini-fairing.

    Love it!
    You get No "Chest Blast"
    You get NO "Face Blast"

You can wear a Half-Helmet and not get Tear-eyed by wind.
You can cruise all-day-long and not get weary.
I've had it above 90 several times and it does NOT adversely effect steering.

The Product Sheet says it "Easily goes On and Off"
    That's a stretch.
You have to loosen the supports to get it off ... so, you might as well remove the whole deal.

Once you get it on, centered and tilted right ... don't rely on the Stock "Thumb Screws"
    Tighten it down.
Replace the Original Adjustment "Locks" with Cap Bolts and lock it down.

Comes with Rectangular of Round cut for Headlights.
You have to ORDER the right one.

I had the S-06 on my 400, it REALLY helped with the chest blast you get. I'm 6'3" so i had to kinda duck so i didn't get buffeting from the air going over my head, but it definitely helped.

One thing i did find, is air would stream up my legs, up my body and come straight up and over my face from below, which wasn't exactly bad per se, but it was something i thought i'd mention.

The Mounting Hardware supplied is nice.

Where the lower Clamps mount to the Upper Forks, ... I cut strips of Bicycle Inner-tube and kept the Clamps isolated from being Metal on Metal.

I added Large Nylon Flat Washers at where the Lower Mount Hardware pass through the Polycarbonate.

The Anchors that go from the bars to the Inside-Top of the Screen are very nice "Ball-in-Socket" Arms that you may position any way you like.

I have to give Slipstreamer a big thumbs up!
I have the hell fire on my Seca. It makes all the difference in the world. She went from uncomfortable to ride at 65 to easy handling at 90. I've been to redline in 5th and it's still smooth and stable.

A buddy of mine has the Spitfire on his Virago and likes it as much as I do the Hellfire.

Aesthetically speaking, I would say the Spitfire would look better on a Maxim than a Seca.
