    PLEASE HELP I HAVE A XJ 600 (1994) IT HAD A FAIRING BUT I'M BULDING IT TO A STREETFIGHTER AND HAVE PUT A SMALL FAIRING ON IT .
    I HAVE BOURT A NEW SPEEDO BUT THE PROPLEM IS DO I HAVE TO HAVE A INSTRUMENT PANEL FOR THE MOT ...

    Um... first, what? Second, take the caps lock off. It looks like your yelling.

    Is that last word supposed to be motor? Are you asking if you need to have a tachometer? If so then no. You don't have to have one. But it does help alot.

    MOT = Ministry Of Transportation -- or something similar.

    I'm surprised to hear someone actually requires an "instrument panel" as that can entail many things. I've seen some bikes with no more than a speedometer - why should yours be any different?

    I'd ask for a more specific definition of "instrument panel" and see what exactly they're requiring you have.

    No You dont,
    MoT test isnt That stringent just make sure what you put on works.
    For everyone else across the pond its a Ministry of Transport (MoT) test certificate of road worthyness basicly nowadays you cant get a bike/car/truck anything over three years old on the road without one
