alright, so im currently running 4 open header pipes. i'm looking to make an exhaust 2 header pipes into 1 pipe on each side of the bike. What size exhaust Pipe is it going to take for me to slide two header pipes into one pipe then weld them closed? will 1 3/4" do the trick?

If you look at my bike it has 4-2, I took 2 1/2 and squished it to an oblong where the head pipes come together and welded it all up like a car header is welded at the collector. Take a measuremanet of how wide you pipes are that need to go into one pipe and it will have to end up the wide on the oblong.
