I was having some trouble bleeding my brakes today, so while surfing the internets I found this:

I made one in about 2 minutes and for something that I mostly took out of our recycling bin, it really made the job a lot easier, especially since my lines were, from what I can tell, completely full of air. About 5 minutes of regular bleeding after that, pumped the lever a few times, and now everything works perfectly. Thought I'd share.

How fast does the master cylinder fill with fluid? On my Seca, the MC is down behind the headlight and any overflowing fluid would drain down the tree. Do you watch it and lower the bottle as soon as you see the reservoir start to overflow?

It only took about ten minutes for me. One thing you can do is place the bottle on the handlebars in such a way so that the top of the fluid in the bottle is about where you want the fluid level in the MC to be. That way, when the fluid levels equalize, you'll minimize the amount of overflow. Also, I used a paper towel to soak up some fluid from the MC when it got too high.
