i want smaller, brighter turn signals. if i use an led variation is that going to put more strain on the alternator or are they more efficient than my old OEM bulbs?

Leds aren't going to cause any more strain at all. I belive for tail lights it is a matter of just going over to leds. If you want to get turn signals for leds they will not kick over the relay. There are other posts on how to convert over to led signals, but off the top of my head I truely do not know much about them. I just know leds will not kick the relays over to cause the light to blink. There are queit a few people that go over to leds in the forums though, and I belive it is a easy conversion.

Worth doing! My LED indicators are dazzling! You can buy a specific led flasher unit from most auto outlets.

i have two led strips i wanted to use as a tail light. i was thinking one as the running light and the other to come on as the brake light. i havent looked at the wiring yet but if its two circuits im thinking that should be rather simple. im attempting to lessen the draw on the battery so when i use the two driving lights as headlights it wont be too much.
