What's a good way to vent exhaust?

I just know the title of this post is going to raise some humorous thoughts(like grasp your finger and pull)...but here goes.

Question: How do you vent exhaust gases from your motorcycle out of an enclosed space?

The reason I ask is that my driveway slopes too much so I can't put the motorcycle on a level surface outdoors to work on it. That leaves the garage floor. But, the bonus room is above the garage. I've tried placing the motorcycle right at the garage door with the exhaust pointing out and using a fan to push the exhaust outside. It's not that effective. It still rises into the bonus room.

I've even thought about those metallic coated exhaust accordion tubes you use for clothes dryers. In theory you could attach them to the exhaust and pipe it outdoors. But , I wasn't sure if that would affect how the bike ran.

Anybody know of a good idea?

 

Use the clothes dryer hose and put a fan at the end of it so its like pulling a suction on it it would be a very crude example of the exhaust systems that have in most shops.

 

The "dryer hose" method is what most auto shops use, fan-assisted as mentioned.

I would use as short of pieces of hose as you can get away with, and see what happens. You might not even need to "assist" the flow, the volume is so much greater.

 

In the Summer, ...

I run fans and blow it out the Open Garage Door.
The wife still complains.
The CO Meter still goes off and makes the dog go nuts.

In the Winter, ...
I back the Bike up to where the Pipes will be outside.
Close the door down to where it touches the seat.
Staple Gun blankets to the Bottom of the Door to keep out the draft.
