Im looking to put a steering damper on my 1982 xj750j. I have a 38mm foork damper bracket on the way. Any one know what the stroke would be for this bike so I can purchase the proper damper

depending on where it's mounted and the angle it's on the stroke could change a lot
Cmccully04, old school cool man, i've got one on my seca and can't say i notice any difference but it looks kind of neat

Thank you very much !! Now if I can squeeze it in around the oil cooler I will be in !!!! The handle bar mounted fairings are notoriously unstable at higher speeds, vetter or windjammer frame mounted are better, but I dont have one of those yet !!!!
