Well...now I have the motivation to do a complete restore on her. Cleaned carbs and gas tank, and she fired right up!!!

Now on to the fine tuning of the carb, get the idle set better, and move on to other items.

Nice work, I hear the whistle :)

I only tinker bare foot then realize I'll probably hurt my foot getting it onto the double-kick :p

Thanks! I got the carbs synched, floats adjusted, and idle adjusted last night...think I need a petcock rebuild though. She runs great in PRI, but dies after a bit in ON.

What IS that whistle? I didn't think it was air...not coming from intake.

My dad only has 9 toes, so I figure I'll be ok if I forget I'm not wearing shoes and throw down the center stand.

The whistle is the call-sign of those YICS motors, music to my ears! I can't remember if it's the YICS port or somewhere else... someone else will pipe up :)
