Little chilly out this morning. Seca didn't want to get out of bed either. Fired up right away, but died. Cranked several times, needed more choking - then she was up and running. I could have dressed warmer, but only 2 miles to work. Still runs great. Will be a nicer ride home and I can take the long way home. Possibly up to 45 degrees today. Any one else riding in cooler weatehr

T'was in the low 30's this morning when I got up. Had the frost on the cover. I hoping the weather continues to warm up and stay dry. I'm not ready to put her away. I need to be dressed appropriately for work, so I can't always wear warm enough clothing. Again, it's only a couple of miles.

I'll ride until it's freezing (32) out. Though the ski passes came in the mail yesterday so it could snow tonight and I'd be ok with it.

No ice or snow on the roads? I'm riding! When the roads get slick I drive the truck. Otherwise it can't get too cold.

15 mikes to work for me. 32 is my limit on the XJ/XS1100. Though I have beed riding the Venture and riding in 45 is no problem. Maybe I can go lower than 32 .

It's a nippy 82 degrees F here right now. Sunny and bright.

Just getting INTO riding season here - not like July Aug Sept with 95+ degree temps and 95%+ humidity.

    :)

It was 30 today, my bike doesn't have the choke hooked up, so i've been shooting a squirt of carb cleaner in the airbox to get it going in the mornings...

Has anyone ever used heat tape to wrap the motor for quick morning starts?

there is no choke on these bikes, it's an enrichment circuit which is like givin it a little throttle, so i dont have one either

Not with CV carbs it's not. When you twist the grip all you give the motor is air. It gets fuel at the will of the vacuum-operated carburetor. Which is why the "choke" is an enrichening circuit, a conventional choke won't work with CV carbs.
