Even cheaper - heated seat covers sold at walmart for ~$10 at walmart.

Cut the cover part carefully, extract the heating pad, stitch it into an old vest or sweater, or in my case a spare Joe Rocket jacket liner... voila, heated vest.

Make friends with electronic geeks, and score a free controller with magnet... never cold again.

EDIT - hey ZZR_RON is there too... watch his posts, that guy is good.

Ahhhh - true, and brought up in that thread I believe - but for a few extra bucks and some work you get a full heated liner, including sleeves :D

I've been giving it some thought to extend the riding season a bit - especially after seeing the guy who extended the connections to have heated gloves as well!

So it wouldn't be a good idea to tell you that we are in the middle of summer and I'm changing in to shorts and t-shirt the minute I get home from work everyday?

we have had abnormal warm weather lately, the weather guys say the party is over and winter is coming back. heated clothing is actually very usable down here too, we can have nite lows in the high 20s especially north of me CH

Alive, I dont mind it from you because soon it will be winter there and you will be in the same boat we are now.

It's just those who live in thnorther hemisphere and still dont have to have the off season and ride all year long.

Like I said, My bike gets worked pretty hard...... it needs a rest?????!!!!
