Will a 1985 Yamaha XJ 700 Maxim Triple Tree fit on an xj1100

    Never tried it but most likley no. The XJ1100 neck is much bigger. I am curious why you want to.

    You can put them on the XJ11 tree, Search the forums there are several who have done it on 1100s and 750s. Also look on XS11.com, there might be some ideas there.
    I have seen XJ11s with drag bars, I think they drilled the tree to accept a bolt in riser. Another option would be to change to a XS11 tree, they have the clamps to bolt bars in place.

    Done it on mine for motocross bars.
    Got a generic riser for a motocrosser and bolted it on.
    Later I opened up the holes to rubber mount them to reduce vibration.
    any 1 bolt on the bottom riser will work.
    Piece of cake.
    remove the factory 2 bolt mount first.
