Speedo problem

    Says I'm doin 80 mph but I'm prob going more like 45. Ideas?

    The first tach that packed up on me was screaming so loud that people (plural) mowing their lawns were stopping to look at what the noise was coming from; they could hear it over their lawnmowers!

    It was so loud I first thought I'd suffered some sort of terrible mechanical failure in the motor.

    damnnnn! ok i heed your advice. is this thing easy to tear down? anything i should be aware of? i have a service manual but i might as well throw it away, its in british translated english!

    Sometimes, ... the Member already has got his own "Exploded View" ... and, therein lies the problem.

    What he'd really like to have back, is the view before exploded happened!

    (I think I read a Post concerning a 900 Tach that makes my point.)

    alright i check out fitz article wowowoweewa thats good stuff. i did the cleaning and now the tach is super responsive kinda like the tach on my sportbike! :D as far as the speedo i think i might still be off by a bit, but its hard to tell. i gotta line up next to someone and ask, wont be the first time :lol:
