Hi all.. Well, the beast is just about finished and ready to go.... except for the front brakes.....Now, I'm almost embarrased to ask this question, but here goes...... How the heck do you seperate the brake light swithch from the master cylinder??
 There, I said it (Deep breaths, breath into the bag) I see the retainer clip, just can't figure how the heck it comes apart..
Any help short of "Wire cutters" would be great,
    Thanks,

There is a little round hole underneath, poke a nail or sim' in to release the clip, easy as..............

I knew I had a pic somewhere, took forever to find it.

For future reference, (in case anybody actually uses the "search" function...)

Green arrow indicates retaining tab, there's one on each side of the switch "head."

Red dotted circle is the release hole, on the underside.

This is a 550, there are other styles of switch retention used on other bikes, this one is common to a lot of them though.
