how can i get the bearing out on the back rim

    hey guys how can i get the bearing out of my back rim i have a 85 xj 700 and am having a hell of a time figuring it out. i need it out so i can get it pouter coated. id really appreciate the help thank you ahead of time.

    From the fiche, it looks like there is a "carrier" (with the splines on it) on the left side that appears to unbolt from the wheel.

    There is a spacer with a separate flanged collar that fits into the bearing on the right side of the wheel, for that you would come in from the left side with a long drift, displace or remove the spacer, and tap on the outer race to push that one out from the inside.

    It's a serious pain! I just got done doing this. If you don't have a punch go get one and slide the spacer in the middle over and hit.it's hard still because the spacer only moves over a few mm
