Happy New Year all. Thought I would share. Got up to 45 degrees here in NH yesterday so I pulled the cover off the Maxim cranked and fired her up and took her for about a 45 min jaunt.

Roads were dry and the sun was shining. It was a glorious thing.

Already looking forward to the 2011 riding season.

    Enjoy!

    Rob

You guys make me sick! Hopefully the snow will have melted by late April, early May and I'll be able to make my way to the bike shed by then. A good riding season here will start some time in May. On the up side.........our Canadian bikes last a lot longer 'cause we only ride them 6 months a year!

Well we are back to reality today anyway. Back to the upper 20's with a wind chill in the teens. :(

Oh well it was nice while it lasted.

I went for a 30 mile country ride on the 750 and ended up finding a Go-Kart for $250 for my nephew !! So today it's the 900's turn, since it will be 71*

    Hey all!
I got new leather for Christmas!!!!! I rode about an hour yesterday but the carbs are still not right at idle. Glad I found this site with all the info on how to clean and sync. No one in my area (eastern NC) will touch this.

Believe it or not we are under another "winter weather advisory" here in NC. They are calling for more over the weekend and into next week. If I wanted all this cold and snow, I would have moved to Fargo when I had the chance 14 years ago. Oh well, I guess I could take the carbs off and clean and tune again.

It's so up and down here in Philly.
It's been a rough winter so far.
One of the nicer days was the start of the new year.
I think it hit 50...(wet n' slushy though)
Started the year off with a ride myself.
    Ride, breakfast, ride, bar....
I've still been keeping her hot.
    40, 30, 20.... It's an addiction.
    Stay safe.

Got the bikes out for a short ride today, 45 deg and sunny. Took the venture to the hobby store to get some rocket engines. Rode the XS and XJ up and down the street a few times. Can't wait till it warms up in the am so I can ride to work. 25 Deg is a little cold for me.

Not on the bike, though it would be interesting to try. Got a new rocket model for Christmas and need some engines to start the build. Modifying a Estes Saturn V to accept a E series engine instead of a D.... more power.
