Seca wheels?

    Are there any other wheels that fit an 82 seca750? I would really like to explore that idea a bit. I would like to run a radial tire that would be sweet.

    The 650/750 Maxim had a 16" rear wheel and they are interchangeable with your bike.

    pretty sure the Virago 750 wheels of that era are interchangable with the maxim thus with the Seca. Matter of fact, pretty sure the swingarm/driveshaft (everything between the tranny output splines and the asphalt) matches too.

    Bunches of them Viragos left by the way side on account of finicky carbs and fragile starter clutches that don't take kindly to the buddabump of cranking a V-twin.

    Of what housing do you speak? ya mean the hub?

    Won't exactly work if the Virago is a Monoshock (the swingarm and final drive appear different) The wheel and brake do swap.

    The 750 Maxim wheels are a direct swap for theSeca wheel. I have both for mine. I believe the Seca wheel/hub is an 18" and the Maxim wheel/hub is a 16". I swap them depending on where I ride. For close to home (to work and short trips) I use the Maxim wheel with a fatter tire on. The bike sits alot lower with it on. But if I want to take a rode trip, I swap to the 18" Seca wheel to get better gas mileage and drop the RPMs for high speed riding on the highway.
    It's always nice to have options!
