heres the tank with most of its prep work complete gonna be some more to do, the amount of stone chips was INSANE!

FJ 1200 master installed with roughed in stainless lines love how factory it looks.

heres a picture of the RS control after they were shaved down to make room for the FJ master

obviously i need to do some clean up and paint on the master and controls to make them truly look factory but i wanted to have it roughed in so i could make sure my SS lines were the right length. THEY'RE PERFECT!

    enjoy more to come

well got a bit more work done got my shocks in today after almost 3 weeks to recieve them. so i had to put them on they fit great but none of the bushings it came with fit so i had to press the bushings out of the old shocks and re use them. also had to trim a small piece of a bracket so it didn't hit the "piggy back" nitrogen tank

hopefully they perform as good as they look

also pulled the calipers for cleaning so i can prep and paint. The signals came in for the front and the flushmounts im using for the rear are here aswell but forgot to take pics will get them next time.

    enjoy

Found out a number of years ago, please yourself. The best I ever got from the wife was a half-hearted "yea, that looks nice" :( . Unless, of course, it was one of her projects like rebuilding the patio, building a new mantle for the fireplace, re-tilling the bathrooms or any number of other "little" things :? ...

did some more work last night forgot about pictures

if you look at my pictures you know how bad the engine covers were on my bike and i EREALLy didn't want to pull all the covers off the engine.

so i've tried scrubbing and cleaning and every solvent i could get my hands on but all of them were wither way too much work or didn't work at all.

Until i found the scuff ball and WD40 holy crap 5 mins a cover to remove all the oxidization and the pitting, seriously this was the miracle i was looking for lol

i'll be sure to take pics to show the difference next time for sure

    THIS IS THE SCUFF BALL

Are you going to change the bars? Because upright with those lights looks a bit awkward.

clip-ons or even drag bars would really set that thing off!

Well i'm bored so i will provide an update on what i think of all this after a full season of riding like this.

    1) front brake upgrade best thing i ever did
    2) dominator lights amazing low beam or high i can see everything
    3) front signals work great very visable
    4) rear signals are crap i do a lot of hand signals
    5) bar end mirrors are great i love them took awhile to get used to them so close to my hands.

still haven't found a place i want to re mount my horn lol

ebay shocks not bad but need better springs in the front to match

Overall for the 1600 i have into this bike that's including original purchase, I love it i get more comments and gawkers at bike meets then my friends and there ninja's and gsxr's, and i still love the reliability of this bike it has never left me anywhere, and i still lead the pack of riders in the twisties with the oldest bike.

can't wait till all this snow mealts to get back at it, need new rubber this year any recommendations?

the mirrors are ebay all steal good construction but they don't stay in place the best i'm re adjusting often in seems.

    http://cgi.ebay.ca/Bar-End-Mirror-3-Mot ... 19bfcd1f60

they also somehow cause this magnifying effect, like i'm riding along thinking some one is riding my ass so close he's gettin high off my fumes, to then look back and find him a good 30-40 feet behind me
