Hey guys-lookin for some tech support here. I'm in the process of rebuilding the forks on my '82 750 Seca. I've done it before but now I can do it better with access to the great threads here. Questions-in the pics shown here, they show 2 thin washers on the damper rod, 1 is flat & 1 is curved. My bike never had these washers & my Haynes manual doesn't include them in an exploded view.
1.-What are these washers & what do they do?
    2.-Can I run without them?
3.-If I need them, where can I get them ?

Here's a picture of what I believe you're looking for. It's been a while since I've had mine apart and I thought the curved washer acts like a bit of a spring tension on the cone shaped valve?
Sorry, can't help you on where to get them or how the shock will work without them?
    Maybe chacal can help?
