82 XJ750 Seca - parts bike for sale - Ohio

    I was going to restore this bike and just never got to it and decided it's time to give it up. I paid $150 for it which is what I'm selling it for. It would need a frame off restoration, it has rust cracks in the frame below the engine. So I would call it a parts bike. Most of it is intact. Items that are NOT good are the Display monitor, front turn signals, headlight, exhaust has some holes. Gas tank was re-painted, but could use another. Has 1 small dent, a bit of piting inside, but nothing really bad. No side covers.

    The fairing is off. The PO started sanding it for a paint job, but only made it half way. It has some damage to the doors and edges. I have the mounting bracket but no hardware for it.
    The carbs are great shape as that was about as far as I got with the restore. I cleaned them up and they are ready to be mounted.
    I had the bike running and checked the gears and compression all was good. I'm NOT sure of the mileage as the odometer said 19,000 but the title said 28,000.


    If no takers I'm going to part it out next week. Great opportunity for a spare engine if you have a need...

    Sure Wally. No takers, so this bike is coming apart and will be going to eBay.

    It's been sitting, I can't say for sure if the petcock needs a rebuild or not.

    Let me take a look at it and make sure it is decent.

    Sorry, there were no takers for the whole thing. I'm in the middle of parting it out. Everything I have is going on eBay or is already gone. No back rest, covers & coils have been sold.
