    Oil Level Light Wire

    So I think I found part of my problem with my oil lvl light being on and blinking all the time…
    I had a feeling I needed to look under the bike so I bent down and looked at the belly of the beast and low down on the bottom near the drain plug was a wire that was cut in half… I have picks put need to take diff ones with my camera my phone wont upload them to my pc…

    Im almost positive that it is the lvl sensor wire for the oil.

    Can you tell what color the wire is? According to Haynes the switch wire should be B/R (black/red)

    I'd go take a peek at mine, but it's snowing!

    I have a pdf file of the diagram for the 650. If you'd like it PM me and I can email it to you.

    It might help if we knew what bike, then somebody could give a specific answer.

    And we would know that how?

    You know how to use the signature feature; it really helps. (Although I had too many "previous bikes" in mine, so I cut it down to active mounts and one milestone.)

    Dude! I just "Google mapped" St. Louis, MI. You're only a couple of hours away; we should go wake up DWCopple one of these Sundays..

    Sorry, OT

    Hey Fitz, Kracket had a post on last night, I suggested same thing with the sig, that's how I remembered...Oil level light was flashing after oil change and filled with 3 quarts...

    AH, here it is ---> http://www.xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic ... weeks.html

    As for the other thing, HELL YEAH! um...just not THIS weekend...kinda snowy right now! I even know the perfect road to Bay City, about 18 miles of nice meandering curves and we'll end up on M20 about 5 miles outside Bay.

    Oh, btw, Saint Louis is about two hours from EVERYWHERE! LMAO
