Well XJ friends, my Maxim is up for sale. Pretty much as in my gallery, except she's not as shiny. She has been a great bike for 5-years but I just picked up an '05 Concours, so she has to go as I only have room for one machine. She is in good condition for a 29-year old bike, everything works except signal canceler. Shop, Owner's and Service manual go with it, as do the Vetter fairing, KG bags, trunk and two sets of keys. Well maintained and serviced, she will go as-is, asking $950.

By the way, this is a nice running bike that has given me a great education as well as great service. Windshield is 2-year old Slip Streamer. I would rather it go to one of the folks on this forum, or at least to a friend of a member. It will be going up on more widespread advertising services soon but after all this forum has done for me, it seemed only fair to give XJ Bikes users first crack at it.

Any questions about her, please ask.

Heading out in a couple of weeks to pick up my new ride and it would be nice to have her sold to a good owner. PayPal accepted.

Well, she's gone. What a sad Sunday watching the excited new owner ride her away. He is stepping up from a 400cc dirt bike, nice off-road but unhappy on pavement. Glad she's gone to a good owner who wants to ride for a long time, but still sad to watch her go.

New owner is not an XJ Bikes member but plans to be. Though most of my forum time will be spent on COGS, I'll be in and out of this forum as it's been so helpful and I will give back.

    Cheers and safe riding!
