750 Seca forks onto 650 Maxim... Can it be done?

... Without too much trouble? I'm looking to get dual front brakes and replace my rusted up inner fork tubes also. If I can get the triple tree from the Seca in addition to the brake equipment and inner/outer fork tubes, will they fit my 650 maxim frame? Also, will the tree-mounted master cylinder cause issues because the 650 had a handlebar master cylinder?

The swap can be done like you stated, no problem. If you really want to use the fork mounted master cylinder from the Seca (not a very good setup in my opinion) you will also need the cable and lever to activate the master cylinder.
My suggestion is to find a dual caliper master cylinder (larger bore) and go straight from the handlebars to the calipers instead of using the cable activated master cylinder. And after market stainless steel brake lines are highly recommended over the stock rubber lines.

Great! Thanks so much for the advice. Do you have a recommendation on which master cylinder people usually use?

I suggest using one from a bike that has dual front disc brakes. Most are buying them off parted out bikes oe getting them off Ebay. Or looking at one off of 4 wheel ATVs should work too.
