    Hello to all, Jason here from Orkney in scotland, Proud (i think) owner

    of 2 xj650 turbo's and an 1989 xj600, all undergoing major restoration

    and all of them at once

    looking forward to sharing my progress

    any help from turbo guru's well appreciated

    Hi Jason Tony here from Derbyshire soon to relocate to NE Scotland. Welcome to the forum, sounds like you going to busy eh, got an 81 XJ650 4KA just about finished a full rebuild and hoping to get to the Caithness vintage show at Wick this summer. you got any pics of yer brood to share with us .

    I've put up a picture of them in the gallery, unsure how to do it here without

    making them tiny,

    Thats how the were, the one turbo is completely stripped, frames been blasted and recoated in silver

    I might get to that show, not on the turbo's. italian imports, never been registered in uk

    Vins 288 & 297 so very nearly twins lol

    Have sourced some bits from germany and some from U.S, very little in U.K.

    WTTC, a good group of guys here. GREAT to see another turbo owner. I had planned on selling mine after I finished making it live again but after enjoying 17 PSI, I removed that thought from my mind!!!

    Aye, Cheers for the warm welcome, a turbo was one of my first big bikes,

    loved it then til the head went, searched a long time for another one,

    just shows to have patience, cause i found 2,

    Might be awhile before i'll be seeing 17psi out of em :D

    That's ok, if you have any questions once you get started, I'd be glad to help you from having to reinvent the wheel as you rebuild them/one.

    I did a ton of reading before I started and pracitically had to learn everything on my own. I was able to find some very smart folks who helped me with the turbo rebuild(let me know that I could do it myself and how to do it) and the setup, hence, the 17psi!!
