I was trying to lift my bike and it fell over on its right side.

When i lifted it back up it dripped gas all over the floor through the exhaust. I rolled it back, and it doesn't appear to be dripping anymore. The petcock was in PRI, so my guess is that gas flowed out because of the PRI setting and the bike laying on its side, but I want to get some expert opinions before I try to start it or anything like that.

    Thanks in advance.

OK, how long was it on it's side to allow THAT much gas through? I'm trying to see the 'gravity' of the situation :) On it's right side, the petcock would be higher then the gas in the tank, assuming it wasn't brim full.

Just curious, I have tipped mine on it's side like that before, now I guess I have to worry about gas if that happens

The gas tank was pretty darn close to full, i filled it the night before and only had put about 5 miles on the tank.

It was on its side for about 20 seconds I would say.
