My battery and my fuse box (with fuse box cover) are all in they're stock positions but I'm running a solo seat so the fuse box and the battery are a little more exposed to the elements. Is this going to be an issue if it's sitting in the rain or getts wet? Can a battery function properly when wet? Should I build a cover under my seat to help protect?

for the fuse box, use some di-electric grease and coat the terminals to prevent corrosion.

this will work on the battery as well, however permatex makes a great product that comes in a small aerosol can, called battery terminal protector. it holds up a little better against acid than the grease. you could also use it on the fuses, but it would be messy and undesirable if you had to change or inspect the fuses.

here is permatex's grease, there are many other brands available. http://www.permatex.com/products/Automo ... Grease.htm

also i should mention, these preventative measures should be applied by anyone, the extra water is not an issue in your situation. the grease can also be used in terminals and light bulb sockets, to keep them from corroding (and it helps them come apart which is a nice bonus).
