:D hi guys gals - i am trying to get my rh t/s working on my bike.. instead of flashing like the lh t/s does it just buzzes continuosly . it has a fiann horn relay and dual horns wired into the bike improperly i mite add!! the two wires that go to the originall horn (according to the haynes manual)- they are a brown (tan) and pink wire--the pink wire goes to one terminal on the fiann relay and the brown wire isnt hooked up to anything- i put tape over it--there is a re wire that is fused and comes from the battery and is hooked up to a terminal on the fiann relay. then they used two yellow wires that go to each horn. so the loose wires that are going to the horn relay are the tan wire and a red wire. is the flasher on my model a turnsignal canceler and a flasher? the continuos noise coming from the flasher could that mean that the flasher is bad,? can i get a new one? If they are cheap i can use it for a tester.?? BIG BIG THANKS FOR THE HELP ESPECIALLY FROM THE VETERAN MAXIM OWNERS

YES YES YES-- I FIXED THE RH BLINKER PROBLEM nEVER MIND... but i still have a question---the rear turn signal assys are working but they left the running light wires (blue) unplugged. so there is an 1157 dual filament bulb but only hooked up to use as a blinker.. I dont even see a place to hook up the wires to have running lights in the rear??? the front has no provision for running lights--just blinkers. I would like to have running lights on the front??? i think it would be safer..Does this bike come with running lights??? thanks

The bike wasn't equipped with secondary running lights, just the headlight. I just installed a set of Halogen lights on my Venture to make it more visible and they also light up the road well. If you have a Maxim be careful when adding electrical equipment. The charging system only produces a low output. I wouldn't exceed about 35 watts of additional load.

If you update your profile you can tell us what model you have. It helps.
