What should I do about the clutch cover gasket?

I just installed new friction plates and springs but I have concerns since the operating range isn't very large. I want to take a look at the clutch again but have this question. Do I need a new clutch cover gasket or can I reuse the 1 week old one given I don't wreck it on removal?

I voted reuse. As long as you don't tear it.

By all means reuse as long as you don't tear it.

I've been working on a clutch parts eval for a while now, requiring multiple teardowns, and find I am able to re-use the gaskets at least once, if not twice, as long as I don't rip them at the holes.

apparently there was not much action range because the retaining wire or whatever you call it from the clutch boss was gone.. i replaced that and reused the gasket.. works like a charm. Thanks for the votes
