    Just finished this maxim....sportster fender, sportster peanut tank, chopper headlight, sparto tailight, 12.5 apes....

    You did the same thing I did with my xj700 Bob. You can still see it in my gallery. I have since sold the bike, but may do another one just like it. I really like how it felt.

    I meant the rake. But, you're right.....there's nothing with a sporty tank in it.

    Yeah I see some similarities! Yeah I also did forward controls which was a pain! Oh well ill add some more pics soon! OH AND ALSO id say im 99% done....I am trying to figure out what to do with the exhaust...right now im just running headers and I just dont like the sound of it and its soooo loud does anybody have any suggestions...P.S. I don't want to do a mac 4-2 or 4-1 because then it would lose that bobber look

    a thought to run with.....maybe make some straight shots, but do some investigating to get the right size diameter pipes so that you could install a set of Hard Krome baffles. They are available through Dennis Kirk.
