    hello all. well i finally went out and bought me a new digital camera. with in a week im hoping to have my new computer. so that means ridz will finally be getting some pics to his fellow xjrs. well i for one am excited.some body steer me towards a thread that deals with pics and how to download them. well stay safe all. 8)

    thanx all. well im hooked up to my new comp today. my camera is a c653 kokak easy share. im going to try to add my bike pic today. i would like to get it where my avatar is.

    There should be a USB cable & a necessary software CD provided along with the camera in box, Attach one end of the cable to a slot in the camera & the other to any empty USB slot available on the computer (USB 2.0 slot Preferred but not Mandatory) the operating system should detect the camera & ask for files residing on the CD provided. after the automated installation completes successfully u'll notice a newly created drive icon/letter alongside the hard-drive/floppy/cdrom letters, that's where captured pics are generally stored, hope this helps :)

    Click on the "Browse" button below the message body box, and find the pic on your HD you want. Then click the "add attachment" button to upload it as an attachment to your post.

    If I'm wrong, please correct this, but I think the max pic size is 500X480.

    goto irfanview...download it, this program edits and resizes and much more...its also free! you can do it with pro paint also,but not free. 8)
