    Hello there,

My gas tank is leaking. I have found the area and there seems to be no cracks and no holes. The area shows bare metal and when wiped clean with a rag... you can see the area instantley get wet again but the leaking is slow (1 drop per 10 seconds). It just randomly started doing that!

a few months ago... I had cleaned the tank, as it was rusted, then Kreemed it from the inside. I dont understand how it could penetrate through the Kreem material! and if so... why now?!

Should I re-Kreem it. will the new Kreem stick to the old Kreem?
What DO you recommend??? whats the correct process about repairing this tank?

    Thanx

I had an old 750 Honda with a leak similar to that in the corner of the tank. I purchsed some gas tank repair that was a two-part epoxy that had to be mixed first. It worked very well and never did leak again. I found it at an auto parts store.

Another option is to have it brazed.Did it to several cracks that I caused,[don't ask how].Blend the brazing in with body filler and repaint.
