Any tips on a good one to get?
Safe to slap onto collectors or close to them?
If someone suggests piece of scrap metal, how big?
Rebar and metal hose clamps perhaps?

Most of the lights close to me do not sense the bike and coming home after 2nd shift could suck. (Or cause me to be late).

Re: red light sensor magnet/plate ??s

No one uses one or some other method to improve metal "footprint" for green light sensors in the road?

i was told they are just large magnets. i've had to take plenty of right turns too cuz the light wouldnt change for my bike, or just blow the red light altogether. hopefully someone who knows more about this will post something here.

You could try touching your kickstand down on the line (in neutral, pita)

The sensors around here seem to work fine, but I have occasionally had to run them.

I only have problems with a couple lights near my house. Luckily I've figured them out and go the other way out of the neighborhood to make my left.

The one light specifically will take 10 or 15 minutes to turn green even with my 6,000lb F-350 sitting on it's sensors. Sometimes I jump out and hit the pedistrian crossing button. Not sure if it speeds it up but it occupies the time.

So I'm not sure if attaching another piece of metal or magnet to you or your bike would help much.
