Hey guys , thought I would pop in and tell you a little about myself . Checked this place out a while ago when sent here from another forum but didn't register till today . Some of you may know me from other forums , crossroads , chopperunderground and chopperfix .
Been riding 21 years , have had my 650 max for 4 years and been modding things since I've had it . Hope to be able to contribute whatever knowledge I have 8O
Pic of the max last summer . By this summer it will have a new front fender , new paint job , maybe a custom exhaust and perhaps different bars .

Nice bike, I look forward to hearing how the mods go and perhaps picking your brains for ideas on how to get stuff done 8)

Well , the first pic is how I bought it 4-5 years ago

Second pic was after the first year , hartailed and new bars

Third pic is 2nd year , homemade rear fender , emblems shaved custom seat , shortened front fender

The last pic is how it sits now , everything under the seat cleaned up and relocated , shortened side stand , signals moved , rewired , sissy bar homemade , pod filters etc... Tons of other little mods that I can't remember and as I said earlier , more in the making :D

Thanks for the kudos , alot of people don't understand or appreciate some people's need to tinker and personalize their scoot and make it personal
All the work was 100% done by me and my oldest son (11 years old) with the bike never taken out of commission (winter blues)

Just some 3 pieces of flat bar I welded together into an inverted "Z" and bolted onto the frame where it's strutted . Planned on making something "prettier" , but just wanted to get out and ride . LOL . Been like that for 3 years now , so I guess it stays

Functional blinkers . Wires are in frame . Got them at the local tractor trailer supply . Smallest marker lights I could find , $5 ea . All 4 for cheaper than a OEM lens :D

Not hard just patience testing  Don't forget my frame is hardtailed , therefore pretty modified and chopped up which gives me different access points .

No Bubba and I are not the same . He's also on the crossroads , The underground and the fix also though , good guy . I go by lowlife on all the bike sites
