Great article. When I first started restoring my bike I was constantly being surprised by the number of spider nests, leavings, and the current angry 8 legged occupants! And the tiny PLACES I found them! EVERYWHERE!

    Thanks

I just read this too - Great read. I love the birds nest pic lol

Now this may seem redundant but as far as the bugs go, would a bike cover (even in the garage) help?

Not as good as the DA*N red squirrels living in the helmets that my wife hung upside down in the storage shed. I'll take a picture and post it. There still there and I got new helmets!

LOL that was good. The writer had a point, they are out to kill you... Everyday, everywhere the cagers are out to kill you. Lucky for me I haven't had any issues with critters trying to live on or in my bike. Nonetheless a fun read thanks for sharing!

All kinds of spiders in Florida, year 'round. And all kinds of idiots too !!
There will be people who will just pull into your lane after seeing you, thinking that they are just using the part of your lane that you are not using.

HCP 1101 - Steeled Toe boot - - perfect for kicking in the door of that offending cager !!

Had a coon sleeping under the cover one night. It was on the cool side out and I guess it was nice and warm under the cover so he crawled up under there and went to sleep!

And don't forget the CATS!! I store my bike in a tent garage and I can't keep the cats off it! I have to wipe the cat fur off the seat and tank almost every time I ride. :x
