    Hello,
I found this site by accident and I'm glad I did. I'm sorry my first post was in the for sale, buy, swap section. I was in a hurry to get the plastic panels for my 85' Yamaha 700x Maxim. I did find them and they are being sent off to be painted. The bike still needs some work. I have put a ton of work into it already. This is my second summer having the bike and I love it. My if anyone is interested I can post some pics when I can take them. I'm glad to be here.
    Thanks
    Ric

Welcome from the Great White North eh! Good idea to update your signature with the bike model, year, work that has been completed, etc.

For safety check brake hoses and change if they are 4 years or older. Check tire condition and date codes.

Chacal, XJ4Ever is our supporting vendor. He is available by clicking on the logo in the header banner. A catalogue is available on line there. He will have most parts you require. Prices are fair and service is outstanding.

Hey guys, thanks for the welcome. I think I'm goin to like it here.
JFStewart Thanks for the tips on the hoses. I did look at XJ4Evers cataloge and bike info, it is awesome. I did replace the tires at the end of last season (thats was when the inspection what due). Now I'm waiting on the painting of the trim pieces to be finished. I have another problem but I posted it in the tech section because I didn't know if I could post it in this post.
    You guys are great!
    thanks
    Ric
