I'm looking for the OEM front fairing for a 1981 XJ 750 RH. I'd prefer it in the black with red trim colors. Does anyone know where I might find one or find a good-looking aftermarket?

Hello Johnius, I have a front fairing w/windshield and the matching vette rear hard case storage side containers, and the behind the seat hardcase storage compartment with the second passenger backrest on it all in Red metallic paint. I'm not sure as of yet if I am going to sell them but I am curious as to how much you were thinking of paying for an entire matching set like that? The compartment hehind the seat has lights and key lock on it as well as the 2 hard cases for the rear sides have also key locks which allow taking them right off the bike and basically carrying them much like a suitcase. My bike is a 81'XJ 750 Seca R. These were original equipment as far as I know. They came on the bike which I am presently restoring. grunt 007, Mi.

I took my off. It's all black. The sheild is cracked on the bottom where there are screws holding it to the fairing. I believe this is stock for Yamaha. Mine is '81. Where are you located and how much are you looking at spending?

I'm in the Detroit area, and I'm looking to spend around $100 for the fairing, windscreen, and all hardware.

FWIW - a replacement windshield for either the Tour Pack or Sport fairings for the 750 Seca run about $100 (unless you manufacture your own).
