drag bars

    installed drag bars on my xj750 seca switches hit tank . what kind of risers can i use to prevent this

    i just ordered drag bars for my maxim 650, i'm not looking forward to this problem :eek:

    Bobbin82, I too ride a 650 maxim. I, and many others, have installed drag bars. Mine have a slight rise, maybe a few inches tops. There are no issues with contacting the tank. Check my photo album you'll see.

    bought some risers off EBAY they are for dirt bike but they work fine no more bars hitting tank

    I believe the top of the seca tank sits higher than the maxim tank.

    One inch spacers made at a machine shop will work. I've made them out of stainless steel, polished to mimic chrome.
