That's not going to help; OP has an '81 Seca 750; the harness is from a much later FJ600. Even though the numbskull eBay seller claims it will "fit" an XJ750, it's wrong.

jmarks81yammie what you need is a factory 750R book; it has not only the wiring and circuit diagrams but cable routing and component location diagrams you won't find in the Haynes.

ahh, just assumed if it was that hacked up, and if the cost was about right, then be simplier and easier to just start all over with.

the Yamaha Factory book for the 750R has errors. For wiring you want the haynes book

If you know the details of errors in the 750R diagrams, please post them so we can edit the diagrams and post them for others. So far I haven't found any differences on my 750, only a couple of minor issues on the 900.

My I please have a set also??
The ones on the XJCD do get a little blurry.
And now I find myself tracking down a 'TAIL' warning.
    Thank You

jmarks81yammie - - My Seca 750 came with blue wire splices, a cut and abraded area under the tank, tape, missing wires, non-working starter and signals, and a hacked fuse box. . .

I bought an E-Bay harness for $15, threaded it in and EVERYTHING was fixed !! Easy. I highly recommend you do the same. Even if you had to pay $75.
