XJ900 Aftermarket Parts??

    I just picked up a 83 seca 900 and i never had a bike like this,never rode it yet(needs alittle tlc)But once i get the parts i need,Ill be in the wind!
    Can anyone tell me what to expect out of this bike and what would it be worth..thanks!!

    Tuned-up nice and everything Tip-top, ... It's a ROCKET.

    If the Nose is soft add Progressive Springs and 2.5cm of Pre-load.

    Get ... The ... Factory ... Workshop ... Manual!!!

    Restore it to better than it left the Factory.
    Get rid of all the Fasteners and Buy a Stainless Kit.
    Buy or Fabricate Screwdrivers that are for use on the carbs, ... ONLY.

    Those BIG Mikuni's LOVE to be Cleaned.
    But they don't like Screwdrivers that don't fit!

    Hang on tight. Like rickomatic says, "it's a rocket". The other week I pulled out of my mother in law's driveway at the other end of our field. Of course, had to crack the throttle, but I stayed wot on it, and went past my driveway at 100mph. Those who have been to my carb clinics know just how short of a distance that is.

    Could you also please go to the general forum and put in your info for the xj900rk database?
