I need to buy turn signals front and rear and I'm on a tight budget. I want something that will use a 1156 or 1157 bulbs because I know those work well with my bike so my question to you is where to get some good functional turn signals on a tight budget. If you could direct me where to go and what specific kind, all suggestions welcomed .. Thanks

If your on a really tight budget, get some of the generic ones from China, I have all original ones on mine, but I did install a set of these (Ebay link) on a friend's bike that had none. These are surprisingly bright for how small they are, the only problem is that the stock signal relay that is on your bike is most likely not variable load. You'll need to use an "electronic" or "variable load" signal relay to use turn signals that use more or less watts than the stock ones for your bike.

I picked up a 2 pin variable load signal relay for $6 at Kragen/o'reilly (smokey clear in color) It said it was for trucks but it works perfect.

Only problem is the shipping, it took roughly 11 days for these to come in the mail from china.

There's a ton of different types see here, but again, all require the variable load relay.
