Another 3D manual update…. I finally finished the turn indicators and the headlight.
Below is a link to a video of the headlight, let me know if you see any errors.

    As usual comments appreciated.

I also acquired a junk motor for the project, the motor will be the fun part and I am sure a challenging task.

Anyone have a junk carburetor to donate. It can be broken nonfunctioning but complete would be awesome.

I also think Chacal may let me add his part numbers to the project if I can figure out a way to incorporate them.

Thanks for any comments and suggestions, hopefully faster progress when the snow kills the riding season.

Nice job FLy. As usual, this is awesome and I think putting Chacals numbers on them would be great. Keep them coming. I think it is great! especially for those who haven't done alot of things to our bikes and it gives a helpful addition to being able to see it before you go into a repair to know what to expect. Great work. Thanks

What software did you use to do that? Inquiring comp sci majors would like to know. Being you are in Michigan I will make you a sporting offer. I have a carb to donate. You show me how you did that

The engineering program is called Solidworks. If you YouTube Solidworks you can see how parametric modeling is accomplished.

As for the carburetor I can’t promise you will get it back so I am looking for junk parts that people do not want returned. If that is OK your welcome to stop over some evening and see how Solidworks modeling of the XJ is accomplished.

Sweet I will look that up. I have Autocad 3DMax. Been too busy to get into using it. Have you looked into DIY 3D laser scanners. It's amazing
I will take you up on your invite. Thanks.
