does anyone know if there is an alternative gas cap to the locking one that will work with and 82 650 Seca. Non locking is ok, just a 1/4 turn twist?
    thanks

You would have to cut the tank and weld in a different "neck" since the stock filler is just a hole with about a 1" tube below it.

A "twist on" type would require some sort of threads to engage with.

Yes and probably not (cost that much.) Get a new lock cylinder from chacal; take the whole mess to a locksmith and have everyting reconfigured to match (or just run with mis-matched keys.)

The gas cap comes apart; and the lock cylinder can be removed from it.
