well this is not a new build, this is one I was doing BEFORE I found my 83 XJ750K. Now that my XJ is on the road I have turned my attention back to the GT750.
I know that someone else has one on the forum and if they ever have there air box apart to change the air filter I would like to get some pic's of how all the parts go inside the air box.
This bike was in parts when I got it. Most of the small parts where missing. And I have had to find bits and pieces to get it together again. So any pics would be great. Thanks

You hate the GT???? We used to get tons of power from that W/C 2 stroke engine....a lot more then we could from the air cooled kaws....

The only drawback was the one piece block.....made a 12 minute piston change in the middle of a race into a 22 minute project.....I've always disliked having to remove more parts then necessary to accomplish a job.

I just hate it when parts get stubborn to put back on!!! 'Ive been lucky though, all rubber parts have been as good as new! I shouldn't complain the only real expensive part I need is a front fender. They want close to $300 on flea-bay for a like new one.

Keep in mind that the GT550 has the identical fender!! I've seen parts listed for the 750 that were the same exact part as the 550 but the seller asks for 50% more....like a gas tank for example. You might find one cheap. And don't feel too badly about paying 300....I just sold a scratched and scrapped H2 fender for 150.

I'd been looking for a new front fender for my all-original 75 H2 for the past couple of years. The fender is nice but the guy polished it with dirt on his cloth or something and it was loaded with circular scratches. The 74 & 75 H2 fenders are the same. I got really lucky and saw a listing for a "hondakawasaki front fender NOS" ...I looked at it, then ran downstairs and pulled mine off my 74 H2 to look at the underside....then ran back upstairs to "buy it now" for 59 bucks!! When I told someone on the triples forum, a guy pm's me offering a THOUSAND for it. THAT is a lot of money but like he said, they are non existant anymore....but I kept it. So keep your eye out.....you just never know.
