I'm bobbin' around my XJ 750 1982 and considering installing clip-ons handlebar. I have a concern about lowering the fork posts. I think my fork is "air assisted" type (might not be thr right words to describe what I mean...). There's a air hose connecting both posts, just below the top triple tree. I'm wondering how to raise the posts ± 1½" above the top triple tree with that air hose and fittings. Can I just remove the "air module" and slide de posts up? I hope the pics will help...

    Thanks!

i put my clipons just under those air valves. i have also been thinking of lowering my front but then id have the same issue as you..
i have asked about this before and the eternally helpful members say (iirc) you can remove those modules but be sure to seal the little holes under the things you just removed.

ps i like my bars low :)
